The journey Begins

Currently I am writing this first entry from Denver, and I just got back from a work trip that was to celebrate the top performers in the company. Myself, being one of those top performers. I wanted to take some time to see my friends as that is the one thing I really miss back in Ohio, and I missed being on the road for the 50 state journey. Not being able to see my friends was tough. The constant stream of new experiences did sort of quell the lack of their presence, but there is no replacement for the bond of friends that have traversed the thick and thin of the most exciting times of your life. While I plan to re-tell the story of the 50 states, I will be constantly thinking about what my next chapter is going to look like. Part of me thinks I just spend the next few weeks here, and then come June, I start heading back to Mentor. Spend the summer there, and then maybe come back to Denver for a few months, and then find a warmer location on the east side of the country to golf and dodge the winter. Sort of like a snowbird, but more like a roaming buffalo. Going more east > west > south > east and sort of lap Denver, Mentor, and maybe Savannah, I really liked Savannah Georgia. As long as there is somewhere to golf, and I can work without any issues. I don’t have see any reason to lock myself down in one place. All that aside, I hope you enjoy my story, and maybe it can brighten your week, day, or however long your attention span will allow. I will be peppering in some of my thoughts about what I am going to be doing, or planning on doing as another year comes and goes. So Go Nugs, Go Aves, and as always, I can’t wait for the weekend.
